President Barack Obama is to host President Muhammadu Buhari at the White House on July 20.
United States of America Embassy in Abuja, on Thursday, confirmed via email that the meeting would hold.
The statement noted that the visit would underscore the United States’ longstanding friendship with Nigeria.
It noted that the commitment was targeted at strengthening and expanding the US partnership with Nigeria’s new government as well as the support for the Nigerian people following the recent elections and peaceful transfer of power.
