Militants are reported to have launched a bomb attack on a Shia mosque during Friday prayers in Kuwait, just a couple of hours after a suspected Isis attack on a factory in the south of France.
There were no immediate reports of casualties following the explosion at the al-Imam al-Sadiq mosque in al-Sawaber, though images posted to Twitter showed what appeared to be a number of bodies lying among the rubble.
Charles Lister, visiting fellow at the Brookings Doha Center in Qatar, said that local reports suggest at least three were killed, while more were wounded.
